Thea Curtis is a dynamic professional with a multifaceted career spanning over three decades. As a licensed cosmetologist, platform artist, Indian hair supplier, educator, certified make-up artist, jewelry designer, fashion designer, event planner, motivational speaker, gospel artist, and caregiver. This blessed woman embodies the essence of versatility and passion.

She’s Universal was founded by Thea to help individuals look and feel beautiful both inside and out. The name reflects her vision to leverage her extensive experience and diverse talents to empower and inspire designers worldwide. Thea co-owns and operates Universal Hair Salons in Irvine, CA, alongside her brother, Harley Curtis, III. She holds advanced certifications from prestigious institutions such as the National Hair Weavers Association, Dudley Cosmetology University, Vidal Sassoon, and LaRan Products Academy. Her inspiration draws from everything related to art, fashion, and beauty—whether it's hair, make-up, designing, or event planning.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Thea is a full-time caregiver for a family member with Dementia/Alzheimer’s. Her dedication to serving others extends beyond her professional life into her personal commitments. During her leisure time, Thea enjoys creating timeless memories with her family, dining out, shopping, singing, and exploring serene places. She is also an avid Bible reader, continually seeking personal and professional growth.
